Indian Dark Air Cured (DAC) tobacco is slowly cured in shaded, natural-draft curing barns over several weeks. This extended air-curing process allows full enzymatic breakdown of starches while preserving rich leaf gums and natural nicotine strength, resulting in a dark chocolate to reddish-brown leaf with a mild earthy aroma and smooth burning properties.
